How to insert different types of plugs

Silicone plugs

Earplugs that are not properly inserted do not provide the level of attenuation they should. If you are unsure how to insert your earplugs, check out the instructional video.

Make sure you use SwedSafe’s silicone plugs correctly.

1. Make sure the skin at the hearing input and hands are clean and dry before use.
2. Shape the silicone plug into a ball with your fingers.
ATTENTION! Do not shape the plug in such a way that it can get far into the ear canal. Silicone plugs are only intended as a cover over the hearing input. If they get far into the ear canal, they can split and be difficult to get out.
3. Place the ball on the outside of the ear canal and push it out against the skin until it closes tightly over the ear canal.

Silicone plugs can be reused if they are clean and dry and still retain their stickiness. Be sure to dispose of used plugs in time. Can not be washed clean.
