Foam earplugs

Earplugs that are inserted incorrectly does not block sounds as they should. If you are unsure of how to insert plugs correctly, look at the instruction video.

Ensure that you use SwedSafe’s foam earplugs correctly.

  1. Make sure the ears and hands are clean and dry before insertion.
  2. Roll down the foam plug into a crease-free cylinder.Note!
    Don’t flatten or twist the plug.
  1. Straighten the ear canal by pulling the ear upwards and outwards.
  2. Insert the compressed plug into the ear canal. It shouldn’t stick out of ear when correctly inserted.
  3. Hold a few seconds while the plug expands.
  4. Sleep! Listen to loud music! Do something fun!
  5. To remove the plug; pull it out slowly while twisting it.

Foam plugs can be reused if they are clean and dry. Be careful to discard of worn-out plugs in time. Can’t be cleaned.

Store preferably in original packaging.

Silicone earplugs

Ensure that you use SwedSafe’s silicone earplugs correctly.

  1. Make sure the ears and hands are clean and dry before insertion.
  2. Shape the silicone to a ball between your fingers.

Note! Don’t shape the plug in a way that risks it to get far into the ear canal. Silicone plugs are only intended as a lid over the ear canal, if they get far into the ear canal they can be divided and become difficult to get out.

  1. Place the silicone ball on top of the ear canal’s opening and shape it with your finger until it seals over the ear canal.

Silicone plugs can be reused if they are still sticky, clean and dry. Be careful to discard of worn-out plugs in time. Can’t be cleaned.

Wax earplugs

Earplugs that are inserted incorrectly does not block sounds as they should. If you are unsure of how to insert plugs correctly, look at the instruction video.

Ensure that you use SwedSafe’s wax earplugs correctly.

  1. Make sure the ears and hands are clean and dry before insertion.
  2. Remove all cotton from the wax plug.
  3. Heat the plug by molding it between your fingers until it’s soft and easy to shape.
  4. Shape the vax to a ball.

Note! Don’t shape the plug in a way that risks it to get far into the ear canal. Wax plugs are only intended as a lid over the ear canal, if they get far into the ear canal they can be divided and become difficult to get out.

  1. Place the wax ball on top of the ear canal’s opening and shape it with your finger until it seals over the ear canal.

Reusable earplugs

Earplugs that are inserted incorrectly does not block sounds as they should. If you are unsure of how to insert plugs correctly, look at the instruction video.

Ensure that you use SwedSafe’s reusable earplugs correctly.

  1. Make sure the ears and hands are clean and dry before insertion.
  2. Straighten the ear canal by pulling the ear upwards and outwards.
  3. Insert the plug into the ear by gently rocking and twisting the plug until it is well fitted and a good seal is achieved.
  4. Go swimming! Flying! Listen to loud music! Do something fun!
  5. To remove the plug; pull it out slowly while twisting it.

Reusable earplugs in TPE (non-allergenic and latex-free plastics) can be reused for approximately 150 hours. Wash them in lukewarm water and soap after every use.
